SURVEY TEXTURE WALLS, PLANTS, CRACK PATTERNS
The investigations among the non-destructive tests carried out with thermographic analysis allow to identify the radiation values emitted by the elements according to a principle of physics saying that any body, having a temperature higher than -273,14°C, emits energy under the form of infrared radiation invisible to human eye.
Thermography can be used to carry out various types of investigations and as a civil diagnostic tool. In civil building IR thermography is pivotal for the identification of:
- Waterproof control;
- Decay analysis due to humidity;
- Detection of water infiltration causes or leakage in pipework;
- Detection of hidden building elements;
- Building thermic insulation for energy performance certificate;
- Thermal bridges in structures;
- Texture walls;
- Masonry amendments in previous buildings below plaster;
- Masonry homogeneity;
- Areas to be renovated;
- Stone sulphation processes;
- Building coibentation;
- Waterproofing;
- Building lead bearing structures;
- Survey detached plaster, external or internal wall lining;
- Water infiltration through roofs;
- Water infiltration through terraces;
- Hot and/or cold water pipework paths in walls or floors;
- Reinforced concrete cover deterioration in paving or tunnel lining.
